So me and my room mate were sharing a PS3 and (for whatever the reason was) using the same profile. I want to copy my save files onto a new PS3, however most are copy protected. Is there any way for me to copy these select files WITHOUT deleting my roommates saves? Basically I want to move certain copy protected saves to another system. I tried doing it via USB but my system said it belonged to someone else and wouldn't save over it >:c

Help!

Also I don't care about trophies or anything like that... I just want my 70+ hrs of Skyrim (among other saves)

If I copy the profile it will delete the old one
If I copy the whole system it will delete the old one

and I don't want to delete her stuff

I'm thinking we unknowingly screwed ourselves....

this is what i hate about the PS3; you didn't screw things up yourselves, it's just sony being stupid...that being said, if you do enough digging there should be ways to move the files to a seperate harddrive, like a usb, alter the ownership, and selectively put some back to the PS3. i did this for the xbox when i was told by an idiot at microsoft to delete my profile, making all the saves on it useless
